I am a symbolist at heart. I like to have meaningful names for my pieces of jewelry. In the first few years I only made one-of-a-kind pieces. Every one of them had a different fictional story written for the exact piece, they all were created as an antique piece of jewelry, that had a previous owner and a fantastic past.

After some time, it became too hard to make only one of a kind jewelry and write a story for every one, but I never fully abandoned the idea.

My solution for this is to create stories for the collections, stories that you can identify with. I firmly believe that a piece of jewelry should make you feel more like yourself. It should help you feel more confident in your skin.

This collection was written in the early days of COVID. My goal was to give you strength when you feel lost. When the whole world is in flames around us, we need hope to rise up like a phoenix from the ashes.

Chapter I.

There is heat and smoke everywhere. The orange and red flames consume everything around me.

It would be so easy to give up, but something drives me forward. An inexplicable, visceral force pulls me towards the door.

I wake up lying on the street. The house I lived in for so many years is in flames. I lost everything. But I am alive.

Chapter II.

The strength I felt on that fateful night was slowly gone. It left a numbing pain in my gut. As I saw the beautiful sundown through the train window, the memories came rushing back.

Chapter III.

The gates of the old family estate rise menacingly above me. I can feel the mist in my bones.
I walk the dark path to the house. Open the front gate and the darkness surrounds me.

Chapter IV.
The night was long. I jumped at every noise. But after a long time, the exhaustion won, and I fell asleep.

Light woke me. A little ray of sunlight came through the curtains. And I felt lighter.
